Electrify Christchurch Expo
Free, family-friendly home electrification expo at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand. Highlights included Ride the Runway, a bouncy castle powered by an EV battery, a political panel on the future of energy in Canterbury, and exhibitors showing solar, heat pumps and EVs.

Solar Mid-build Event
An EV-shuttled evening tour of an energy-efficient, solar-powered home under construction overlooking Church Bay, with speakers from Rewiring Aotearoa, Think Solar and the Healthy Home Cooperation covering electrification, the Ratepayer Assistance Scheme, home solar and low-energy building design. Attendees meet at Two Thumbs, travel to the site by EV to hear from the owner-builders, then return for pizza and a pint.
